Matthew Harbison

At his residence in Ilderton on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Hilda for 61 years. Dear father of Pat and Doug MacPherson of London and Andrew and Barbara Harbison of Waterloo. Dear grandfather of Matt, Shawn and Melissa MacPherson; and Kathleen and Samuel Harbison. Born in Cullybackey, Northern Ireland, He served in the Royal Artillery 9th (Londonderry) Heavy Anti-aircraft Regiment from 1939 to 1946 in the Middle East. Matthew came to Canada in 1953 and worked as a bricklayer until his retirement. Matthew was also a long time member of the Ilderton and District Lions Club and Ilderton United Church.

A memorial service will be held at Ilderton United Church, 121 Mill Street, Ilderton on Saturday, July 9th at 2 PM with Rev. Marilyn Carter officiating. Cremation with family interment Littlewood Cemetery, Middlesex Centre.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Building Fund of Ilderton United Church would be appreciated by the family.

 

Margaret Jean Prudum

A long-term resident of Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall passed away on Monday, June 13, 2011, formerly of London and Clinton in her 66th year. Margaret will be sadly missed by all of her family, friends and the Exeter congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall, 160 Francis Street, Exeter on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 1:30 PM. Cremation. Interment Dorchester Union Cemetery. Donations to World Wide Work of Jehovah’s Witnesses would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully, at Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall on Sunday, June 12, 2011 of Hensall in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late William Alexander (Sandy) Munn (1998). Dear mother of Bill and Marlene Munn of Hensall and Sandra and Dalton Jaques of Usborne Township. Loving grandmother of Ryan and Terri, Kevin and Stefanie, Carol-Anne and Alex; Charlsey and Shawn and Kelsey and Nick and great-grandmother of Owen and Adam. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Loreen Gill of Grand Bend, Mary and Bill Rowcliffe of RR 1 Hensall, Lillian Watters of Toronto, Jack and Betty Borland of Woodham, John Hodgins of Exeter, Betty Simmons of Exeter, Gordon and Jean Munn of Exeter and Eunice Munn of Hensall. Also missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Bryan (1950), brother Bert Borland and sisters Lyla Rudolph, Alma Borland and June Hodgins.

Peacefully, at her late residence on Thursday, June 9, 2011 of Exeter and formerly of Oakville in her 56th year. Beloved wife of Kevin Wurm. Dear mother of Shari and Jody Stirling of Wyoming and Barb and Darryl Stenhouse of Hamilton. Dear grandmother of Karagan and Abigail; and Tyson. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Russell and Vivian Wright of Bracebridge, Linda and Bob Townsend of Gravenhurst, Vicky and Dan Arsenault and David Wright all of Oakville and Lorna Wright of Burlington. Christine will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews and the entire Wurm family.

Dear father of Berton Hodgins of Lucan and Sharon and Fred Mardlin of Denfield. Dear grandfather of Louise and John Broeders of Bryanston, Lynn Mardlin and Chris Yule of Lucan and Lisa and Dave Vandewalle of Dublin. Dear great-grandfather of Adam, Nicholas, Emily, Adrianna, Cole; Tess; and Jeromy. Dear brother of Gwen Grose of Lucan, Vincent Hodgins and Genevieve Worrall both of Denfield and brother-in-law of Gloria Hodgins and Andy and Phyllis and Don O’Neil all of Lucan and Dolly Hodgins of London. Also missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his infant son Earl, brothers Austin and Lawrence Hodgins and brothers and sisters-in-law Lillian Hodgins, Lyle Worrall, Calvin and Marjorie Grose, Charlie Grose and Kathleen Grose.

Dear grandmother of Melissa, Kent and Kari, Casandra and Stephen, Katherine and Tim, Paul and Melissa; Kim and John, Cindy and Rick, Don and Anne and great-grandmother of Dustin, Maya, Amelia, Jake, Keaton, Lauren, Trevor, Hayley, Matthew, Daniel, Michael, Kaila and Logan. Mary will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters.
