Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Thursday, April 28, 2011 of Exeter and formerly of Hensall in his 76th year. Beloved husband of the late Eudora (Hyde) Caldwell (2007). Dear father of Terry and Heather Caldwell and Jeff Caldwell and Debbie and her children all of RR 2 Hensall. Dear grandfather of Tristen, Ryan, Jake and Abbey. Dear brother of Harold and Wilma Caldwell of Hensall, Shirley Damant of Hamilton and Jean Tozer of London. Dear son-in-law of Lillian Pym of Exeter. Predeceased by his brother Ronald Caldwell.

At LHSC-University Hospital, London on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 of Lucan and formerly of Centralia in his 81st year.  Beloved husband of Helen (Lightfoot) Swartz.  Dear father of Nancy and Jim Davis of Grand Bend, Barbara Swartz and John Medd and Brenda and Steve Thomson all of Lucan and Patti Swartz and Dan Regier of Dashwood.  Dear grandfather of Sarah and Todd; Brandon, Tyler and Rachel, and Brittany and Travis; Mandy and Greg and Billy and Jamie; Melanie and Steve and great-grandfather of Devon.  Dear brother-in-law of Gwen and Bruce Coulter of Corbett and Don and Darlene Lightfoot of London.  Predeceased by a sister-in-law Shirley and her husband Carl Stuckless.

Dear father of Helen Marshall of Mitchell and father-in-law of Laurie Jarvis of Thorndale. Dear grandfather of Grace and Linda. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Jean and Fred Cook of Granton and Don and Laura Carter of RR 6 St. Marys. Son-in-law of Harold Carter of St. Marys. Predeceased by his daughter Linda Marie Marshall (1965), his son Daniel Marshall (2010), his sister Barbara Davidson (2007), his parents Herbert and Ida Marshall and his mother-in-law Ruth Carter.

Evelyne M. (Sweitzer) Brenner

Peacefully, at the Exeter Villa, on Saturday, January 22, 2011 with her loved ones at her side, went to be with her Lord, formerly of Grand Bend in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Glendon John Brenner (1983). Dear mother of Bill and Marlene Brenner of Grand Bend, Brenda and Jim Hennessey of Exeter and Gary and Rue Brenner of Grand Bend. Beloved grandmother of 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Madeline Sweitzer of Exeter.  Predeceased by her brothers Wray and Sam Sweitzer and sister Ida Scholes, step-sister Virginia Clark and cousins Edith Barr and Louise Moore. Evelyne and Glen owned and operated Brenner’s Red Gables in Grand Bend for over 40 years.

A private graveside service will be held at the Grand Bend Cemetery on Saturday, April 23rd. Cremation. The family invites anyone who wishes to celebrate Evelyne’s life to join them at 17 Orchard Road, Grand Bend on Saturday, April 23rd at 12 PM (Noon) for lunch and refreshments.

Dear grandmother of John, James and Tracy, and great grandmother of  Jacob, Samantha and Zachary; and Sean, Arik and Josh. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Shirley McAlpine of Ailsa Craig, Jack and Eloise Eagleson of Parkhill, Shirley Eagleson of Grand Bend and Ethel Atkinson of London. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews and the Leo Boyle family. Predeceased by her son Robert Atkinson (2011), infant son James, son-in-law Joseph Kemps (1999), brothers Bob, Harvey, James, Stan and Willis Eagleson, brother-in-law Gordon McAlpine, and sisters-in-law Annie and Doris Eagleson.
