Unexpectedly on Saturday, March 30, 2024 Tim Bannister of Lucan and formerly of Thorndale passed away at home surrounded by his family and friends at the age of 45. Adored husband of Jennifer (Tipping) Bannister. He leaves behind his children Blake, Madison and Erica Bannister and his step-children Brody, Nicholas, Megan and Jack Rosser. He is survived by his siblings and their partners, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends who were so blessed to have him in their lives. Lovingly remembered by his mother-in-law Darlene Tipping and the Tipping family. Predeceased by his parents Audrey (Hayter) (2013) and Gordon Bannister (2017) and father-in-law James Tipping (2017).
Tim was a truck driver through and through and loved being part of an amazing work family. He was the first to lend a hand, or a shoulder, to anyone who needed him. He had a love of sports, gaming with friends and collecting vintage toys. Most importantly he loved and cherished time with family and friends. All of whom he loved fiercely.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Tim’s life will be held on Saturday, April 6th at the Royal Canadian Legion, 136 Market St, Lucan from 1-5 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice in Tim’s honor.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).
