Predeceased by a brother Jack Baynes, sister-in-law Margaret Baynes and brother-in-law Ken Shaw. Jennie (Bakker) Miedema

Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter with family at her side on Thursday, January 24, 2008, the Lord took to himself our beloved mother, grandma, sister and friend: Jennie (Bakker) Miedema, of Exeter and formerly of RR 1 Bayfield at the age of 79.  Predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Andrew Miedema in August, 2006.  Loving mother of Tettie Rooke of London, Mike and Diana Miedema of Port Stanley and Bernie and Marsha Miedema of Exeter. Loving grandma to Matthew and Laura Miedema of St. Thomas, Danielle and Pete Reid of Hamilton; Patrick Miedema of Port Stanley; and Meaghan, Tyler and Nikki Miedema of Exeter. Sister of Bernie and Christine Bakker of Strathroy.  Although she struggled with cancer a good portion of her life, she continued to stay positive and found her comfort and strength in Psalm 31, Verses 14 & 15.  ”But I trust in you, O Lord; I say, “You are my God”, my times are in your hands”.  Friends may call at the Exeter Christian Reformed Church, 330 Huron Street W., Exeter on Saturday, January 26th, 9:30-11 AM where the funeral service will be held at 11 AM with Pastor Jack Quartel officiating. A private family interment will be held at Elmdale Memorial Cemetery, St. Thomas. Irwin (Bunny) George Ford

Peacefully, at Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 Irwin (Bunny) George Ford formerly of Exeter in his 97th year, born September 1, 1911, son of the late Herbert and Cora Ford.  Loving husband for 73 years to Adeline (Stone) Ford and loving father of the late Mary Anne Miller (2000). Survived by his grandchildren: Dan and Patti Miller of Lindsay and their children, Scott, Peter and Ben Miller and Carolyn and Eric Skrypetz of Mississauga their children April and Ross.  Predeceased by his sisters and brothers-in-law Ruby and Roy Bell and Gladys and Bill Chambers.  Irwin spent 33 years as a volunteer firefighter for the Town of Exeter, acted as Fire Chief and was a Municipal Police Officer.  A private family service will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Thursday, January 17th with Rev. Paul Ross officiating.  Interment Exeter Cemetery.  Donations to the Exeter Volunteer Firefighters would be appreciated by the family.
