It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Daniel Cyril Hartman, of Lucan at the age of 55. Dear father of Benjamin. Cherished son of Cyrille and Anne (Meidinger) Hartman of Lucan. Loving brother of David and Linda Hartman and Sandra and Andrew Koborda and uncle of Kyle (Emily), Brandon (Brittney), Nick, Justin (Krissy), and Jason and great-uncle of Henry, Myles, and Jessie. Fondly remembered by Benjamin’s mom, Mary-Jo. Daniel was a retired iron worker and was proud of his many years as an iron worker.
A private family service will be held. Cremation with interment St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Lucan.
Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

My childhood memories of Dan were special as when our families got together for an occasional Sunday get together. The adults played cards and socialized while we played games and such. Always looking forward to the next gathering wishing it was going to be the following weekend. Watching Bugs Bunny while we ate our Sunday dinner on our t.v. trays and finishing off with The Wonderful World of Disney, knowing when that show was over it was time to say good bye till next time.

Growing up I thought Dan was the BEST!! Always willing to put on a ball glove or grab a hockey stick at family events. Most would tire out after a while but not Dan.
How about those epic family card games. The competitive spirit was alive and well and we were only playing for nickels and dimes.
I ran into Dan about a year ago. I remember thinking he still looked 25 and maybe he would still be up for a game of catch.
