I had glimpses of Dan throughout the last decade as a gentle, kind and loving father, husband, uncle, son, friend and brother. During his time in Mt. Brydges we shared many a meal and some deep conversations. He never had a mean thought about anyone. He lived each day to enjoy. I am very sad and heartbroken at his passing. I’m sure he’s now adding joy to his family and friends that he joins in heaven.

Growing up I thought Dan was the BEST!! Always willing to put on a ball glove or grab a hockey stick at family events. Most would tire out after a while but not Dan.

How about those epic family card games. The competitive spirit was alive and well and we were only playing for nickels and dimes.

I ran into Dan about a year ago. I remember thinking he still looked 25 and maybe he would still be up for a game of catch.

RIP Dan the Man.

Dan’s passing is absolutely devastating. He was always so much fun to be around. A great spirit, always happy, and he naturally made those around him laugh and smile along with him.

My childhood memories of Dan were special as when our families got together for an occasional Sunday get together. The adults played cards and socialized while we played games and such. Always looking forward to the next gathering wishing it was going to be the following weekend. Watching Bugs Bunny while we ate our Sunday dinner on our t.v. trays and finishing off with The Wonderful World of Disney, knowing when that show was over it was time to say good bye till next time.
