Marjorie passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at South Huron Hospital on Friday, August 29, 2025 in her 103rd year. Predeceased by her husband Charles Glanville (1977). Marjorie will dearly missed and fondly remembered by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Marjorie had a love for the simple joys of lifeโgardening, canning, and cooking were among her favourite pastimes. Fiercely independent and happiest at home, she cherished the comfort of her own space while caring deeply for those she loved.
A private family service will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, Exeter. Interment Exeter Cemetery.
Donations to South Huron Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Marjorie, was my Dadโs ( Carl Stiefโs )
cousin. I was able to meet her and enjoyed chatting with her . I was able to wish her birthday wishes over the last few years and she could give me such a smile. My parents always enjoyed their times with her. What a wonderful family legacy she has left .
She will always be in my mind. I wish you all to be able to cherish your memories of her.

Dear Marjorie’s Family: I had many memories when I read Marjorie’s obituary. She was a “trooper”, She was a very strong woman, who I admired. I retired 7 years ago and have often thought of her. We spent alot of time together and enjoyed each other’s company. Well done Marjorie, you lived a long and fruitful life. A true cargiver you were!!! Love Liz Herman

Aunt Marjorie was a true gem. She had a mind like a steel trap, even in her 100’s she remembered stories long forgotten by me and my sisters. I’m so glad I got to visit with her in her home these past Summers.
She had the most amazing laugh, and I’ll never forget it.
Rest in Peace dear Auntie, love you always ๐
