Loved, admired and respected by his children Dwayne and Donna Tinney of Exeter, Karen and Doug Shirray of Tavistock, Joan Tinney and Harry Frost of Victoria, B.C., Carol and Quentin Laws of Vancouver, B.C., Sandra and Yves Barbeau of Kapuskasing, Philip McLeod of Abbotsford, B.C., Shelly and Billy Hay of Hensall and Heather Tinney and Jamie Dewar of Atwood. Grandpa to 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his first wife Lolus McClinchey (1965), infant daughter Linda (1944), sister Roberta Fitzgerald (2007) and her husband Richard (2002) and daughter-in-law Marian Tinney (1999). A kind and caring man, Jack was involved in local politics for many years in his beloved community of Hay Township as Councillor, Deputy Reeve and Reeve and in Huron County as Warden in 1979.
