With saddened hearts, the family of Virginia Gayle Smith of Exeter announces her passing at South Huron Hospital on Friday, August 7, 2009 53rd year. Loving mother of Skye and Erin Pfaff of Exeter. Dear grandmother of Cohen. Beloved daughter of Geraldine (Prout) Smith of Exeter and the late Bill Smith (2004). Dear sister of Jayne and Brian McCann of Mt. Carmel and Robert and Cynthia Smith of Kelowna, B.C. Dear aunt of Blair, Melanie, Lisa and Josie. Also missed by her many aunts, uncles and cousins. Virginia’s love of nature, animals and her girls will never be forgotten. A private family graveside service will be held at the Exeter Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Huron SPCA (Humane Society) would be appreciated by the family.
