Free at last to walk the Durand Beach. John Charles Johnson (JJ) of Denfield at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital surrounded by his family on Friday, August 14, 2009 in his 69th year. Much loved and will be missed by his wife Sandi Johnson. Dear father of Jeff and Karl-Lynn Johnson of Thamesford, Mary-Ellen St. Clair and Wayne Hussey of Guelph and Stuart and Robin Ashton of London. Dear grandfather of Jason and Cole; Kevin, Emma, Erin and Eva. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Margaret Ann, Tom and Allen and Leeann Johnson all of British Columbia, Ed and Louise of Strathroy, Barbara and Bill McCann of Ottawa and Bob Johnson of London. Also missed by his best pal Midnight. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary Johnson, granddaughter Reese Ashton and sister-in-law Donna Johnson. Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Monday, August 17th at 2 PM. Cremation. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Ilderton Lions Club or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. There will be a Lions Service in the funeral home on Sunday evening at 6:45 PM with the Ilderton Lions Club.
