Peacefully, at her residence in Watford, Ont, on Monday, July 14, 2008, Sarah E. (Clark) Wren, formerly of Kippen and Hensall, passed away in her 105th year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Wren (1973) Dear mother of Ivan and Gertrude of Port Huron, Mi. and the late Alice and Tom Smith. Loving grandmother of Laurie Wren of Owen Sound, Joan MacDonald of Phoenix Az. and Michael and Ann Smith of Thompson Manitoba and great-grandmother of Christopher and Nikki MacDonald and Joanne MacDonald. Sadly missed by her niece Doris and the late Erwin Bestard and their son Kevin and Sue and nephew Clark and Mary Forrest and their family Julie, Lisa and Matthew. Predeceased by her sisters Mary (Robert) Buchanan and Ethel (Frank) Forrest and great nephew Brian Bestard. Sarah and Gordon lived in Kippen and ran the mail route for many years.
The funeral service will be conducted in the Hensall Visitation Chapel, 79 King St., Hensall on Thursday July 17, 2008 at 1 p.m. Visitation 1 hour prior to service time. Mr. Bob Heywood officiating. Interment McTaggart’s Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
