Passed away at LHSC-University Hospital, London on December 10, 2023, at the age of 96, with her three sons at her side. Genny was the loving wife of Lyle (1995) and the beloved mother of Gordon (Sharlene), Wayne (Judy) and David. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Bryan (Tammy), Elanna (Steve), Tyler (Carrie), Ashlee (Jason) and Grant (Lindsay); and by her great-grandsons Levi, Cash, Ashton, Jack, Jayden and Noah. She will be fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law Gloria Hodgins, Maureen Weir, Nathalie Monck and Dorothy Worrall. Genny is predeceased by her siblings and their spouses Hamilton Hodgins (Audrey), Austin Hodgins (Dolly), Gwen Grose (Charles), Vincent Hodgins (Lillian) and Lawerence Hodgins; and by her brothers-in-law Carl Pollock, James Weir, Ross Monck and John Worrall, and by her great-grandson Beau.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, LUCAN on Saturday, December 16th from 10-11AM, where Genny’s funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM with Pastor Steve Greene officiating. Interment St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ailsa Craig & Area Food Bank or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by Genny’s family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).
