WOOD: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Monday, July 9, 2012, Lawrence Wood of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, age 88. Beloved husband of Doreen Ada (Stevens) Wood. Loved father of Yvette Brown of Shelburne. Loving grandpa of Matthew James and Lisa Rosenow of Riverview, NB, Kirsty Louise and Adam Rosenow of Toronto, Nikki-Marie Brown of Hamilton and great-grandpa of Dayden, Sebastien, Oliver, Coen and Harriet Rosenow. Predeceased by brothers Fred, Arthur, Richard and Harry Wood, sister Rose Wood, parents Fredrick and Mary (Wells) Wood. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the South Huron Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Lawrence served during WWII with the Royal Navy of the U.K. T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, entrusted with arrangements.
