Peacefully, at home on Friday, December 30, 2005 Winfred Joseph Thompson of Exeter in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Mary Margaret Stuart. Dear father and father-in-law of Stephen and Julia Thompson and their children Merissa, Matthew and Jonathan; Susan and Ronald Wilson and their children, Emily and Andrea; and Frances Thompson and Wade Dobbin. Also remembered by brothers and sisters, Mary Granger, Daniel Thompson, Allen and Dorothy Thompson, Howard Thompson, John Thompson, Barclay Granger and Jean Stuart. Predeceased by Ruby Thompson and Donald Stuart. At Win’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral. A private family gathering will take place to celebrate Win’s life. Please make any donations to London Regional Cancer Program or Canadian National Institute for the Blind. A tree will be planted as a living memorial.
