March 5, 1958 – February 17, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kevin Windsor, a devoted husband, proud father, cherished papa, and a man whose love for family and friends left an enduring mark on all who knew him.
Kevin was the beloved husband of Carol (Nickles) Windsor for over 40 years, with whom he built a lifetime of love and laughter. He was a dedicated father to Brent (Nicole), Kendra, and the late Tyler (2020), always ensuring his children had the best experiences and memories to carry forward. As “Papa,” he was adored by his grandchildren Hailey, Rylie, and Hudson, who will forever hold his warmth and wisdom close to their hearts.
Kevin was a true sportsman, spending countless hours at the ball diamond or arena, whether he was playing, umpiring, or refereeing. He didn’t just love the game—he loved the camaraderie that came with it. When he wasn’t on the field or the ice, he was on the water, casting a line and soaking in the quiet serenity of the waves. Fishing wasn’t just a hobby for Kevin; it was where he found his peace, his joy, and the inspiration for countless stories.
Above all, Kevin was a man who poured his heart into his family. He worked tirelessly to provide a better life for them, ensuring they had not just what they needed, but a childhood—and a lifetime—filled with unforgettable experiences and cherished memories. No matter how busy life became, he always made time for those he loved, knowing that time was the most valuable gift he could give. He was there for every milestone, every challenge, and every celebration, offering unwavering support, deep love, and a presence that made everyone around him feel valued. His legacy is not just in the lessons he taught but in the moments he shared, the sacrifices he made, and the love he gave so freely.
Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in the laughter of his grandchildren, the memories of his family, the friendships he built, and the countless lives he touched. May we carry forward his love, his kindness, and his unwavering spirit.
A come and go celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at the Lucan Community Memorial Centre (new Multi Purpose Hall), 263 Main Street, LUCAN on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 1 – 4 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you take a moment to enjoy a game, cast a line, or simply make a great memory with those you love—just as Kevin would have wanted.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Charles Gatfield for his many years of extraordinary care as Kevin’s family doctor. Deep gratitude is also extended to Charlene Foxton for her compassionate nursing care and support at home. A heartfelt thank you to the paramedics, Dr. Ryan, and palliative care nurse Linda at South Huron Hospital for their kindness and dedication in making Kevin comfortable in his final moments. Your care and support will never be forgotten.

Carol and family,
What a loss! A wonderful husband, father and grandfather.. He gave so freely and lovingly to everyone.
His contribution to the sporting community and mentorship to the kids. One of my favourite memories
of Kevin is the pictures I have of Carol and Kevin dancing at a reception we attended. He loved you Carol and his children and grandchildren to the highest possible.. His suffering is done after a long hard battle and is now in a better place teaching the Angels how to play sports… He has earned his wings..
