WILLIAMSON: Margaret Ann (Inson)

WILLIAMSON:  Peacefully, after a courageous battle with N.S.I.P. surrounded by the love of her family, at her residence, on Saturday, April 30, 2022, Margaret โ€œMargโ€ โ€œMaggieโ€ Ann (Hogan) (Inson) Williamson of Exeter, age 70.  Beloved wife of the late William David Inson (2004) and James โ€œJimโ€ Williamson of Exeter.  Dear mother and mother-in-law of Jodi Inson and companion Ron Deleary of Stratford, the late Scott Inson (2012), Emily Inson of London, Rob and Kari Benati of Dorchester, Lee and Sonia Williamson of London and James Williamson of Ottawa.  Loved grandma of Julia, Marlee, Jade, Nicole, Taylor, Tyler, Dustin, Ryan and loved GIGI of Azalea. Marg will be missed by her fur babies Sadie Ann and Maddy.  Dear sister and sister-in-law of Jack and Mary Hogan of Exeter, Nell McCann of Mount Carmel, Cecilia Mittelholtz of Ilderton, Joe and Pauline Hogan of Exeter, and Rita Hogan and Don Smallwood of Grand Bend.  Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Philomene (Desjardine) Hogan, sister-in-law Ruth Hogan, brothers-in-law Jack McCann and Ed Mittelholtz.  Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation on Friday, May 6, from 6 to 8 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Mount Carmel, on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 11 am. The Rev. Father Vincent Gulikers Celebrant. Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to South Huron Hospital (paid directly) or charity of choice would be appreciated. Marg was a well known caring, selfless and loved Registered Nurse at South Huron Hospital for 38 years and a CWL member for 49 years.

    Growing up as a kid I always spent a week in the summer with my Aunt Marg – and she spoiled me rotten too ! Many, many childhood memories stay with her & Uncle Bill. Very sad news and honoured to be a pall bearer. RIP dearest Aunt & say hello to Uncle Bill & Scott !

    My condolences to each of you at this sad time. A woman with a heart of gold. She cared for my mom in her final days, almost 29 yrs ago at South Huron Hospital. I couldnโ€™t ask for a nicer person to hug and cry on her shoulder at the time. Cherish the good times & special Memories that each of you have of Marg. Take care, thinking of you all. Sending hugs.

    Marg and I lived in PHRSN residence 50 years ago.We maintained our friendship.Didnโ€™t matter how much time passed we simply picked up where we left off.She was an amazing Nurse,wife,mother and friend.If you were lucky enough to know Marg, she had a humour second to none. I still hear her laugh and remember her beautiful smile. I have so many memories tucked away in my heart. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing. To Jim,Emily,Jodi and all family please accept my kindest condolences. She was an Angel on earth and now in Heaven.

My favourite memory of Marg is when she and I stayed, as teenagers, with you in London, and we went shopping. We had so much fun, and I bought one of my favourite pairs of shoes – penny loafers.

    Marg always had the best pool party when we were kids and my name was always Topanga – between her and poopsie, which carried into working together at the hospital when I was older. She had a contagious smile and was always the first to ask how you were doing with sincere interest. She will be remembered by so many as a wonderful woman.

    To the Williamson Family… We were so saddened to hear of Marg’s passing. She looked after both our children at South Huron Hospital when they were born in 1981 and 1984 and was a wonderful, caring nurse. Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

Our Service Coverage Area

Service AreaWe are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Potential Additional Transportation Fees

$150 - If transport requires more than one person, additional fee charged per person required
$150 - If transport occurs outside Mon-Fri, 9-5 business hours
