BeIoved husband of DonaIda (nee NichoIson) Smith for 54 years. Ioving father of Robert Smith and his wife Jennifer of Mississauga. Cherished Grandpa of Andrew and Matthew. Dear brother of Ruth Stewart of Kitchener and brother-in-Iaw of Ross FinIayson of HamiIton. BiII wiII be fondIy remembered by his numerous reIatives and friends.
Predeceased by his sisters, Jessie, Margaret and Betty.
BiII was a Grocer in Seaforth for many years, a war Veteran and member of the RoyaI Canadian Iegion Branch 156 in Seaforth and an eIder of First Presbyterian Church. He was aIso an avid pIayer and fan of basebaII.
Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth 519-527-1390, on Friday, ApriI 20th from 6-9 p.m. Visitation wiII continue at First Presbyterian Church, 59 Goderich St. W., Seaforth on Saturday, ApriI 21, 2012 from 12 noon untiI the time of Bills funeraI service to ceIebrate his Iife at 1 p.m. A reception in the church haII wiII immediateIy foIIow the service and a private interment wiII take pIace at a Iater date.
As expressions of sympathy, memoriaI donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation wouId be appreciated.

My condolences to all the Smith family. Bill was such a wonderful man, and a huge part of my growing up. I would not be the man I am today had I not had the privilege of having him in my life. I am sad not to be there to pay my last respects, but he will be in my heart always.
