Unexpectedly, with his family by his side at LHSC-University Hospital, London on Wednesday, October 18th, 2017 of Lucan in his 66th year. Cherished husband of Linda (Morley) Wilkinson for over 44 years. Loving father of Tammy and Jeremy Langendyk of Clandeboye, and Jenn and Rick Feltz of Crediton. Dear Poppa of Alyssa and Owen; Brody and Mckyla. Dear brother of Lillian Eldridge, Tom Wilkinson, Rose Towle, and Art Wilkinson. Predeceased by his parents Irene (Ellah) and Arthur Wilkinson, his parents-in-law Ted and Florence Morley, brothers William (infant), and Charlie, and sisters Gladys Spinder, Mary Thatcher, Dorothy Howell, Norma Wilkinson, Thelma Cassar, and Lois St. Louis. Fondly remembered by Linda’s family, and many nieces and nephews. George recently retired after 45 years of service at Dashwood Industries.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 21st at 11 AM. At George’s request, please dress casually. Interment St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye.
