Jared passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 in his 28th year. Loving son of Donna Clarke (Scott Lamont), and Rob Welsh (Donna-Sue Welner). Cherished partner of Jen “Jenni” Martin. Proud brother of Brandon Welsh (Erica) and adored uncle of Madeline. Dearly missed by his “Mama” Betty Clarke and his late Papa Don “Duck” Clarke and his grandma Linda Clipperton (the late Wayne Clipperton). Stepdad of Dorian Jewell (Maddy), Ryder Turner, Brett Turner, and Olivia Turner. Sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins from the Clarke, Welsh, Westlake, Martin and Dendrijver families and his fur babies; Nikki, Lucy, Calcifer and Mimi.
Jared was an outdoorsman and enjoyed all seasons of the year. He loved taking in the beauty of nature, hunting, camping and snowmobiling. Jared enjoyed spending time with everyone he loved, cherished and protected. He was an avid video gamer and when indoors, could be found playing on his computer. Jared always put others before himself to ensure they were cared for. Above all, Jared was a proud brother, an adored stepfather and was excited about being “uncle Jared”. He loved his family so much and his family shared that same love with him.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 456 Main Street South, EXETER on Tuesday April 15th from 6 – 8 PM, where Jared’s memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th at 11 AM. Private family interment at the Crediton Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with his Papa.

Jared was my best friend through late elementary school and early high school. I lost contact with him during high school, but I’ve thought of him often throughout the years and kept trying to find a way to get in touch with him.
