(Martene) Weigand, of Blue Water Rest Home, Zurich, formerly of Dashwood and Hay Township, in her 92nd. year. Beloved wife of the late Eben L. Weigand (February 8, 2001). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Donald and Jean Weigand, James and Eleanor Weigand all of R. R. #1, Dashwood, Norma and Ray Cockwill of Exeter. Loving grandma of Jennifer and Amanda Weigand, Daniel and Traci Weigand, Christopher and Sandra Weigand. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Carrie Russell, Edna Swain, Mildred and Elvin Bearss, Anthony and Shirley Martene, Florence Martine, Joan and Don McFadden. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her brothers Joseph and Charles Martine. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Thursday afternoon and evening; where the Funeral and Committal Service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2001 at 11 a.m. Mrs. Irene Richardson officiating. Spring interment Calvary United Church Cemetery, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations to Calvary United Church, Blue Water Rest Home or a charity of choice would be appreciated. Martha was a member of the Dashwood Women’s Institute, Calvary U.C.W. and founding member of the Dashwood & Area Medical Centre Board.
