Passed away peacefully at LHSC – Victoria Hospital on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the age of 68. Cherished wife of Ron Ward for over 45 years. Loving mom of Jen Ward and Rick Kerr, and Mike Ward. Proud grandma of Cameron, and Chloe Kerr. Dear sister-in-law of Bill Ward (Nancy), Sharlene McClure (Bryan), and Sharon Dalton. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Bob and Dorothy (McClure) Dalton, sister Blanche Coady, and brother Kelly Dalton.
Kathy was an avid gardener. Together she and Ron enjoyed travelling to various places, taking in the scenery. Kathy enjoyed a good deal visiting many different flea markets and yard sales over the years. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.
A private family funeral service will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, Seaforth. Interment Maitlandbank Cemetery.
A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held at the Seaforth Legion, 123 Main Street South, Seaforth on Saturday, June 14th from 1 – 4 PM.
Donations to the LHSF – Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre or Crohn’s & Colitis Canada would be appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).
