With a heart full of love for his family, Steven William Howard Walker passed away on March 14, 2026 at St. Joseph’s Hospice in London. Beloved husband of Jane (Elston) Walker for 43 years. Dearly loved dad of Benjamin, Jeffrey and Danielle. Proud and adored Grampa of Clark and Cole. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Diane and Michael O’Shea, Katherine and Jim Grieve, Melanie and Vernon Thomson, Bob and Marilyn Walker, Tim and Teresa Walker, Paul Elston and Kim Lefebvre, Gary Elston, Nancy and Bruce Young, David and Joan Elston and John Elston and Valerie Hesser. Loving uncle of so many wonderful nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by his parents Howard and Jean (Febrey) Walker and his parents-in-law Edwin and Margaret (Cardiff) Elston, Libby (Hudson) Elston and sister-in-law Donna Elston. Steven enjoyed extended family gatherings with the Walkers, Febreys, Elstons, Cardiffs, Prescotts, Hudsons and Smiths.
Steven believed in a good day’s work, whether it was farming or construction. His work was rarely contained to 8-4 as he often helped family and friends with projects. Steven had a warm smile and a hearty laugh. He regularly asked about others, showing a genuine interest in the people in his life. He strongly supported the Dairy Farmers of Canada – he loved a glass of milk.
Steven’s family is very grateful for the exceptional care and support that he received from the LHSC Medical Departments and the entire team at St. Joseph’s Hospice.
