WALES: Peacefully, at Lapointe-Fisher Nursing Home, Guelph, Wednesday, November 7, 2007, John Richard “Dick” Wales, formerly of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, age 89. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Renfrew) Wales of Guelph. Loved father of Christine Mary Solomon and her husband John of Port Dover, Elizabeth Anne Mosher and her husband Peter of Whistler, B.C. Loving grandpa of Michael and Carrie Solomon, Mark and Douglas Mosher. Dear brother of Brenda Wales of England. Predeceased by his sister Ursula Aitken, brothers Frank, Howard, Charles and Rodger (WWII) Wales, parents Bertha (Moxon) and Herbert Wales. The family wish to express special appreciation to Dr. Charles Reed and the Management and Staff of Lapointe-Fisher Nursing Home for the wonderful care given to Richard. At the request of the family, private funeral arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or charity of choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
