At LHSC-University Hospital on Friday, May 30, 2008 Virla Ilene (Jones) Allen of Exeter and formerly of Usborne Township in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of William L. Allen. Precious mother of Rev. Susan and Dave Moore of Grand Bend, Joan and Paul Mitchell of London and Carol and John Clemens of Exeter. Loving grandmother of Michelle and Terry Pfile and Jon Moore; Allen and Michael Mitchell; Jamie, Brittany, Jason and Chelsea Darling. Predeceased by her brother Ray Jones and his wife Dorothy. Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where a private family funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd with Rev. Susan Moore officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery. Donations to the Exeter United Church or the South Huron Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
