Peacefully at home with her daughter by her side on Thursday, August 4, 2022 formerly of Lucan and Listowel. Beloved wife of the late Robert James Vick (2006). Cherished mother of Terry and Paul McTaggart of Lucan, Dave and Karen Birk of Ayr, and Jacquie Birk and Brian Clarke. Proud grandma of Meghan and Thomas Doyle, Dustin McTaggart; Zachary, and Cameron Birk; Brandon and Katie McTaggart, and Krysta and Dan Gee. Adored great-grandma of Ethan, Nolan, Ella, Emily, Quinn, and Cohen. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Ruth and Don Martinson, Don Adamcheck, Doug Gowing, and Danny Gowing. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Harry and Hazel (Marshall) Gowing and siblings, Maxine and Orvis Fletcher, Helen Sommerville, Shirley Adamcheck, Linda Gowing, Dalton, Donald, and Lyle Gowing, Molly Gowing and Joyce Bender.
Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside will be held at the Listowel Cemetery at a later date.
Donations to Canadian Mental Health Association or Huron Women’s Shelter would be appreciated by the family.
