At St. Marys Memorial Hospital, St. Marys on Monday, December 29, 2003, Verna (Brock) McElrea of Wildwood Care Centre and formerly of R.R. #1 Kirkton, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late John McElrea (1988). Dear mother of Glen and Marion McElrea of Kirkton. Dear grandmother of Jason and Darryl. Predeceased by a daughter Sharon (1959), sisters Florence and Greta and brother Russell. Friends may call at the Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter, one hour prior to the complete Funeral Service which will be held on Wednesday, December 31st at 1:30 p.m. with Mr. Bob Heywood officiating. Interment Kirkton Union Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
