Peacefully, at Clinton Public Hospital, on Friday, May 25, 2012, W. Rodger Venner, of Kippen, passed away in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Evelyn (Taylor) Venner and the late Patricia O’Reilly (1980). Dear father of Debra of St. Lambert QC and Stephen and Debra of Exeter. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Carrie Venner, Christopher Tan and Riley Tan. Dear brother of Murray and Marion Venner and Jean Johns. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Wesley and Estella (McLearn) Venner, one son Michael and brother-in-law Gilbert Johns.
Visitation in the Hensall Visitation Chapel of the J. M. McBeath Funeral Home, 79 King St. Hensall on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. where a memorial service will be conducted on Monday, May 28, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the Hensall Visitation Chapel of the J. M. McBeath Funeral Home, 79 King St. Hensall. Pastor Colin Snyder officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment Hensall Union Cemetery. A reception will follow in the St. Andrew’s United Church, Kippen.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of one’s choice.
