VAN LUXEMBORG: Peacefully, passed away at Alexandra Marine & General Hospital, Goderich on Friday, December 27, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer, Judith “Judy” Roberta (Patterson) Van Luxemborg, in her 74th year. Survived by her cherished and loving husband Johannes “John” M. J. Van Luxemborg for 24 years. Remembered by her sisters-in-law Marion and Evelyn Patterson, Mike and Tiny Van Luxemborg, brothers-in-law Norbert, Martin and Cornelius. Cherished aunt of Don, Scott, Delynne Patterson, and cousins Patricia (Videan) Wheeler and Carl Simpson. Predeceased by her parents, Donald “Pat” and Margaret Grace (Videan) Patterson, brothers Don and Doug Patterson, also predeceased by her biological mother Wilma Marie (Musser) Masseo. At Judy’s request cremation has taken place and a private committal service will be held at Maitland Cemetery at a later date. A Celebration of Judy’s Life will be held at St. George’s Anglican Church, Goderich on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 11 a.m. The Arch Deacon Kim Van Allen Officiant. Arrangements entrusted to T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. Donations in Judy’s memory can be made to St. George’s Church or Heubner Ridder Vet Hospital in honour of “Baby Boots” for needy animals or the Canadian Cancer Society.
