TIEDEMAN: Unexpectedly, but peacefully, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Thursday, February 9, 2012, Eric John “Rick” Tiedeman of RR 2, Grand Bend, age 68. Beloved husband of Sheila D. (Collins) Tiedeman. Loved father and father-in-law of Eric and Jackie Tiedeman of Parkhill, Carrie O’Neil and companion Darin Shay of Sarnia and Jim O’Neil of Forest. Loving grandpa of Tylor and Jessica O’Neil, Mat and Nicole Tiedeman. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Dorothy Baker of Thorndale, Wanda and Jim McCreight of Goderich, Walt and Barb Tiedeman of Exeter, Carolyn and Tom Thomaes of London, Albert and Evelyn Collins of Cedar Springs, Jack and Marcella Collins of Blind River, Jim Collins of Blenheim, Larry and Betty-Anne Collins of Erieau, Margaret and Richard McIlroy of Blenheim. Remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by parents Maurice and Jessie (Jennings) Tiedeman and brother Donald M. “Donnie” Tiedeman. Cremation. Visitation for family and friends will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, Sunday, February 12, 2012 from 1 to 5 p.m. If desired, memorial donations (made payable by cheque) to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
