THOMPSON: Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, on Monday, July 20, 2020, Joyce Eileen (Colmerauer) Thompson, of Grand Bend, just 2 weeks shy of her 94th birthday. Beloved wife of the late C. Thorpe Thompson (1996). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Audrey and Richard Bloodgood of New Jersey, Patricia and Neil Pastashuk of North Carolina, Richard and Nora Haddow of New Jersey Jamie and Don Stephens of St. Marys. Cherished grandma of 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grnadchildren. Remembered by her stepchildren Thorpe and Joan Thompson of New Jersey, Bobbie and Brent Swensen of California, and her nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Otto and Elizabeth (Baumann) Colmerauer, daughter Susan Haddow, brother Otto Colmerauer and sisters Dorothy Foy Carol Seidof, Joan Scherf and Betty Anne Lockwood. At Joyce’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date, time and location to be announced. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations (payable directly to the charity) to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
