THIEL: Surrounded by the love of his friends, at Exeter Villa, on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, Glen Carl Thiel, of Exeter Villa, formerly of RR 2, Zurich, age 81. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Donna Isabelle (Turnbull) Thiel (October 10, 2014). Loved son of the late Hugh and Eva (Weber) Thiel. Dear brother of Keith Thiel of RR 2, Grand Bend and his friend Mary Anne Norland of Sarnia. Cherished uncle of Jo-Anne and Brad Boswell of California, Carolyn Stark of Windsor, Randy and Karen Thiel of Grand Bend and their families. Fondly remembered by his many cousins and long time family friend of the Hoffman and Kyle families. Predeceased by his sister-in-law Marg (Whiting) Thiel and nephew Dave Stark. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, on Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Zurich, on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11 a.m. Pastor Nadine Schroeder-Kranz Officiating. Spring Interment St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Zurich. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque only) to Exeter Villa or charity of choice would be appreciated.
