Peacefully at South Huron Hospital on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at the age of 70.
Beloved partner of Paul Passmore for 22 wonderful years.
Loving mother of Helen and Jim Ahrens of Lucan, BJ and Meaghan Theophilopoulos, and Gus Theophilopoulos all of Exeter. Cherished grandmother of Noah and Luke, and Grace, Finley, and Myles. Lorie was deeply proud of her family, especially her grandchildren who brought joy to her life.
Dear sister and sister-in-law of Amandah and Ken Peebles, George and Karlene Harris, the late Bonnie Harris, Daryl and Penny Harris, John Christopher and Christina Harris, and Steven and Melodee Harris.
Lorie was never idle — whether tending to the family restaurant and variety store, or managing their 500 sow farrowing operation. Her quiet presence was a source of comfort, and her unwavering commitment to her family will forever be remembered.
Private family arrangements with cremation to take place.
In memory of Lorie, donations to the South Huron Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
