Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at her residence at R.R. 1 Zurich, Darleen Ann Thedorff passed away on Saturday August 15, 2015 in her 49th year. Loved daughter of Gwen and the late Ken Hart. Beloved wife of Patrick Groot. Dear mother of Shauna Thedorff of London and Christopher Thedorff of Kitchener and stepmother of Michael and Lindsay Groot and their daughter Freya of Crediton, Matt and Kaylene Groot and their daughter Hannah, Justin and Brittany Groot and Jeremy Groot all of Exeter. Dear sister of Heather Cook-Portelance and Daryl and Janette Hart. Sadly missed by the Groot family and her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Brian Thedorff and her parents-in-law John and Bridgett Groot.
Visitation in the J. M. McBeath Funeral Home, 49 Goshen St. N., Zurich, Ont on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 11 a.m. in St. Boniface Roman Catholic Cemetery. Pastor Elly Dow officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Huron SPCA.
