TEAHEN, Doris Marie (King), It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Doris early Thursday morning, January 10th at North Lambton Lodge, Forest. She was the wife of Jack, the love of his life for over 62 years. She will be sadly missed by her children Beth and Pat Breen, Erin and Ted Lawson, Jane and Leonard Jones and her grandchildren Sarah and Andrew, Mike, Kyle, Kate and Andy, William, Michele and Andrew. Doris was predeceased by her sister Annette (Bernard) Starr and her brother Kay King. She is fondly remembered by brothers Pat ( Sylvia) King and Jerry (Marie) King. Loved by Joan and Leo Clement and Betty Lou Gibb and predeceased by Doris Reader and Ken Gibb. Doris graduated as an RN from St. Joseph’s Hospital, Chatham and later worked in London and Toronto. She loved to help deliver babies. She was the industrial nurse at Labatt in both Toronto and London, until her retirement. Doris loved time with her family and friends in Grand Bend and Florida and loved a round of golf with Jack, the love of her life. Funeral Mass to be held Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Grand Bend with burial,to follow at the Pinery Cemetery. The family wishes to acknowledge the care and compassion of the staff and volunteers at North Lambton Lodge during the past six months.
