At Kensington Village London on Sunday November 23, 2003 T. Harold (Slim) Parkinson formerly of Middlesex Centre in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Ola (Riddell) Parkinson (1999). Dear father of Helen Hartwick and her friend Ralph Westman of Denfield, Marion Roden and her partner Brendan Cunningham of Lucan and Linda and Len Hagle of Glencoe. Dear grandfather of Kevin, Keith and Marianne; Linda and Ron; and Shannon, Tyler and Kelly. Lovingly remembered by 14 great-grandchildren. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Marion and Lloyd Easton of London. Predeceased by 4 children Douglas, Daniel, Brenda and Ronald (September 3, 1962), son-in-law Ray Hartwick (1996), grandson Douglas Hartwick (2002), sister Margaret Miles (1995) and brothers Elliott, John, Roy and Gibson Parkinson. Friends may call at the C. Haskett and Son Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 26 at 1 p.m. with Val Hodgins officiating. Interment St. John’s Cemetery, Arva. Donations to Alzheimer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
