SWABEY: Peacefully, at Exeter Villa Nursing Home, Monday, March 20, 2006, Lionel Charles Swabey, age 88. Beloved husband of Mary Christine (Hourigan) Swabey of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend. Loved father and father-in-law of Gary and Margaret Swabey, Clifford and Kay Swabey, Pearl and John Broughton all of England, Irene and Roger Hamman of Florida. Step-father of Philip and Sarah Lawlor, Michael Lawlor, Anne and Gavin Don all of England. Much loved by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild. Also survived by brothers and sisters in England. A Memorial Service will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, Saturday, March 25, 2006 at 1 p.m. The Rev. Father Francis Thekkumkattil C.S.T. officiating. Cremation. Interment Pinery Cemetery, Grand Bend. If desired, memorial donations to the Saint Elizabeth Health Care would be appreciated.
