After a courageous battle with cancer, Stuart William MacDonald of RR 1 Thorndale passed away peacefully at LHSC-Victoria Hospital on Sunday, October 21, 2007. Beloved husband of Marilyn (La Haye) MacDonald. Dear father of John and Valerie MacDonald of St. Albert, Alberta, Mike and Lisa MacDonald of Komoka and Rhonda and Ron Locking of Thorndale. Sadly missed by 6 grandchilden. Dear brother of Dick MacDonald of Port Elgin and Derwin MacDonald of North Bay. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Ian MacDonald. Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Tuesday evening 7-9 PM where the memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 24th at 11 AM. Cremation with interment Prospect Hill Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
