In Toronto after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, July 24, 2002 Steven William Sims of Toronto and formerly of Hurondale in his 45th year. Deeply loved by his sons Trevor and Calvin of Stratford and his life partner Lisa Bagley of Toronto and her children Lucas and Jaimie. Beloved son of Edna (Bayley) and Evan Sims of Usborne Township. Cherished brother of Lori and her husband Paul D’Auvergne of Oakville, Jane and her husband Chris Harvey of London and Bob of Exeter and his friend Brenda Siemon of Dublin. Loved uncle of William Harvey and James Siemon. Also survived by his grandmother Gladys Sims of Exeter and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Friends may call at the Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, 370 William, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A memorial service will be held at Trivitt Memorial Anglican Church, Main Street, Exeter on Saturday, July 27th at 11AM with Rev. Bill Ward officiating. Cremation with interment Exeter Cemetery. In Steve’s memory donations to Big Brothers, Big Sisters would be appreciated by the family.
