Loving father of Sharlene and Chris Kapp of London, Shelley and Robert Wardell of Strathroy and Sheryl and Rick Hill of Sarnia. Cherished grandpa to Steven Mommersteeg and Kailey and Robbie Hill. Loving “Pappa Steve” to Fred, Donna, Kathleen and Charlotte Gregus. Also loved by Paul, Melissa, Quinn and Marley Bogle. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Gayle Grenier and Terry Sass, Bill and Mary Jane Karkheck, Lynn Karkheck and Bruce Dolson, Les Karkheck, Flo and Leo Cleaveley and Irma and Darryl Smith all of Stratford and Leanna Thomson of Niagara Falls. Predeceased by his mother Marie Karkheck, mother and father-in-law Dorothy and Harold Thomson and brother-in-law Larry Thomson. Steve was an employee of Dashwood Industries for 30 years. Friends may call at the Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the complete funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 13th at 1 PM with Bob Heywood officiating. Cremation with interment Exeter Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated by the family.
