Suddenly at home on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, Donald Mark Stephen of Exeter, at the age of 57. Cherished husband and best friend of Andrea (Becker) Stephen for over 22 years. Proud father of Conner Stephen, and Ryan Stephen. Beloved son of Joan (Broderick) Stephen and the late Donald Carl Stephen (1995) and son-in-law of Alex and Doreen Becker of Dashwood. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Heather and Randy Bilcke, and Derrick and Heather Becker all of Exeter. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews; Matt and Melissa and their son Owen, Anna and Drew, Sheldon, and Colbie.
Mark gave more in life than he asked in return. From a young age, Mark followed in the footsteps of his father, working in the printing business. His family operated Stephen Printing for 30 years. Following his time in the family business, Mark worked in advertising for various newspapers in Southwestern Ontario for over 15 years. In his spare time, he loved working with his hands, building furniture, playing guitar, baseball, volleyball, bowling and watching his favourite team, the Toronto Maple Leafs. He enjoyed cooking and loved photography, working on the side capturing special moments for many area families through weddings and family photos. He always enjoyed being behind the lens. Mark will be missed by his many friends both in the community where he lived and his virtual video gaming community, where many friendships were formed. Above all, Mark truly cherished being a father and spending all of his time with his family.
A private family funeral service will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, Exeter on Saturday, March 5th at 11 AM.
