Alex: Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your wife, Judy. I never met her, but I know she must have been a very special woman. You were my favourite high school teacher, but I got to know you personally through Ron and Ann Hansen, and cleaning on Saturday mornings. You were always so interesting to talk to. I am so glad you found your soulmate to spend so many years with. I hope the wonderful memories of your time together will help you to heal your heart. Please know you are in my thoughts.

Dear Alex and family,
I’m so sorry about Judy’s passing and I’m thinking of you at this sad time.
Judy, old friend, you left us too soon. From the time we met when we were 15 at Thistletown High School, you were a constant and dear friend to me for almost seventy years.
And sometime in those seventy years you met and married Alex, the love of your life, and ended up living in Seaforth. A bonus for me, having you close by.
Iโll miss your wicked sense of humour, your sense of fun, your generosity, your ability to take the most ordinary occurrence and embroider the facts to make it a fascinating story and most of all, our long chats over a scotch or two.
Goodbye. Rest well, dear friend.

Dear Alex, losing Judy is a great loss to all who knew her. I first met her in the late 1960s and we shared many adventures including taking students on a trip to Europe and Russia during Cold War days , an early adventure to the Caribbean and our infamous trip to the Middle East for a very hot summer. She was always Up for the challenges we met and never without a joke and smile. When she met you she knew she had met her life partner and it has been my pleasure to share these many years since with both of you. You have many wonderful memories to share and hopefully these will brighten the dark corners ahead.

Alex and to Judy’s family
Sending our sincere condolences
Judy taught me in school but I was very fortunate to be her neighbour for the last 15 yrs. Judy helped my husband and I grow the most beautiful angel trumpet plants. She loved to grow and plant flowers of all kinds. We also enjoyed a cup of tea which Alex and Judy would bring from their travels around the globe. Judy had a great sense of humour and always a kind caring heart. Judy also had the love of our golden retriever Archie, who would always be barking in their garage for his daily treats. He had her wrapped around his paw as Judy would say ” How can I not feed him, Look at those BIG brown eyes.” Our family will miss her dearly. I hope your fond memories will comfort you in this difficult time
