Peacefully at Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall on April 28, 2026 of Hensall and formerly of Exeter and Huron Park in her 69th year. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Steep (2011). Sister of Judy Gleave of Alberta, Bruce Brown (Deb) of Blyth, Ken Brown (Deanna) of London, and sister-in-law of Deb Bromley of Cambridge. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jean was an avid gardener who found great joy in tending her plants and caring for the many beloved four-legged companions—both cats and dogs—who shared her life over the years.
A celebration of Jean’s life will be held in the future. Cremation with interment Clinton Cemetery.
