Beloved twin brother, bestest friend, and forever golfing buddy of Dr. Robert William (Bill) and adored brother in-law of Dr. Lindy Steele of Grand Bend, Ontario. Favourite Unky Bram to Sandra, Bram, and Hilda of Grand Bend and Kingston, Ontario. Beloved friend of JoAnne Dinney of Exeter, Ontario. Born April 25, 1944 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, to Hilda Mary (Davies) and Percy William Steele. Survived by Pamela Steele, mother of his adored and much loved children Damien, Ashley, and Olivia, of Brisbane and Sydney, Australia who loved their daddy so very very much. Big brother to Dr. John (Jocelyn) of Ipswich, Queensland, Australia; Peter (Cheryl) of Yeppoon, Queensland, Australia; Lyndell (Robin Town) and Glenn (Nicole Stimson) of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Most favourite uncle to Michael, Wendy, Katie and James Steele; Jordin and Lincoln Steele; Pieta, Liam, and Cienwyn Town.
Consulting Engineer, entrepreneur, and world traveller; he built a huge business in a strange part of the world, where few dared venture. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends in Australia, the Sultanate of Oman, Exeter/Grand Bend, and Calgary, Alberta. A Private Australian Wake for family and friends will be held on their birthday.
We thank the Exeter/Grand Bend community for making Bram’s welcome to Canada so wonderful and entertaining. He lived life to the full in interesting times !
