Suddenly, on December 1, 2023 of Seaforth at the age of 59. Dear son of Shirley Staffen. Beloved husband of Maria Staffen for 7 years. Cherished father of Andrew Staffen, Nathan Staffen (Hailley), and step-father of Ivy Paula, Patrick (Chermain) and Justin. Adored grandfather of Oaklynn Staffen, soon to be Hudson David Staffen, Justine Rebuldela and Brielle Rebuldela. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Carol Duquette (Dennis) and Sandra Montgomery. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Glen Staffen, sister Judy Scarrow, and brother David Staffen.
Visitation will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 87 Goderich Street West, SEAFORTH on Thursday, December 7th from 6-8 PM and again on Friday, December 8th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
John’s funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 9th at 10:30 AM at the Seaforth Agricultural Society, 140 Duke Street, Seaforth. Cremation with spring interment in Maitlandbank Cemetery.
Donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association or Canadian Cancer Society – Cancer Research would be appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).
