Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Ottawa Civic Hospital on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at the age of 76. Cherished wife of Allan Spiegelberg for 28 years. Loving mom of Terri Aunger (Joel), and grandma to Matthew, and Katie. Predeceased by her son John-Paul Maurer. Step-mom of Jen Pincombe (Jody), and Micheal Spiegelberg. Step-grandma of Anna, and Jaden and step-great-grandma of Noah, and Tyleah. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Jim and Maureen Walker, Bryan and Laurie Spiegelberg, and Anne and Ray Black. Aunt of Judy Benn (Jeff), and Zane Walker (Cathy). Great-aunt of Madison, Ella, Lilly; Kristen and Ryan. Fondly remembered by her many family and friends.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held in the summer of 2025.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Dorothy’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).
