Peacefully at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Eric Eugene Smale, best friend and loving husband of Erla (Hay), of Zurich, Passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2009 two days before his 72nd birthday. He leaves to mourn his daughter Shannon (Dan) of Zurich and his sons Randy of Zurich and Rick (Tammy) of Crediton. Also left to mourn are 4 grandchildren Rodney, Ashley, Jennifer and Nicole. Beloved son of the late William and Vera Smale. Survived by his sisters Bette (Wally) Taylor, Corinne (Ken) Harrison, Sharon McLachlan, his brother Bob (Dianne) and special brother Don (Ruth Ann). Also survived by 5 sisters-in-law, 3 brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation.
Memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel United Church, Zurich or a Charity of One’s Choice.
