SLIWINSKI: Peacefully, after a courageous battle with breast cancer, on Monday, June 27, 2016, at Bluewater Health, Sarnia, Gail Joanne (Smith-Farraway) Sliwinski of Grand Bend, age 46. Loving mother of Zakery “Zak” Sliwinski at home. Beloved daughter of Connie (Smith) and the late Chris Rayner of Cayuga and Douglas Farraway of Hamilton. Loved companion of Ross Norman of Grand Bend. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Jason and Kim Farraway of Port Franks, Jeremy and Tiffany Farraway of Cayuga, Lea Rayner of Brantford. Cherished aunt of a niece and nephews. Remembered by her lifelong friend Theresa Herbert, many other friends in the Grand Bend area and Zak’s father Wayne Sliwinski. At Gail’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Gail’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 498, Grand Bend on Saturday, July 9, 2016, from 1 to 4 p.m. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Breast Cancer Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
