Peacefully at home, with his family by his side on Friday, October 15, 2021, of Lucan, at the age of 81. Cherished husband of Jeanette (Blake) Simpson for over 61 years. Proud father of David Simpson at home. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Ralph and Joyce Simpson, and Murray and Joan Simpson all of London, Pete and the late Donna Shipley, and Sharon and the late Wayne Redick. Loving uncle of Nancy Simpson and her family, Aubrianne, Vaughn, and Abbiney; Darren Simpson; Matt and Marco Simpson-Verkade; Jamie and Carolyn Shipley, Tim and Brenda Shipley and their family, Olivia, and Celia; Shannon and Dave Manders and their family, Jesse, and Blake; and Guy Redick. Fondly remembered by many cousins, and friends from both the Simpson and Blake families.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, LUCAN on Sunday afternoon from 2 – 4 PM. Due to Provincial COVID-19 restrictions, each person must RSVP for the visitation, please click “Register Now” below to register.
A private family funeral service will be held on Monday, October 18th at 11 AM with David Burghardt and Rev. Jacob Shaw officiating. Interment St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye. Donations to Villages United Church would be appreciated by the family. 
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee.
