Peacefully, at her daughter’s home, near Glencoe, on Sunday, June 5, 2016, of RR 2 Denfield, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Werner Seegelken (2003). Dedicated mother of Werner Seegelken (Sheilagh Bond) of RR 2 Denfield, and Antje Giles (Jeff) of RR 3 Glencoe. Loving Oma to Jeremy (Jocelyne), Amber (Kevin), Jonathan, Alyssa, Amy; and great-grandmother to William and Alexandra. Sadly missed by her sister Christa (Dieter), brothers Klaus (Edeltraud), Horst (Nelly), and Gerd (Gitta) in Germany, brothers-in-law Peter and Heiko, sisters-in-law Erika, and Julia; and nieces and nephews Ettje, Ute, Heike, Heiko, Ingo, Gundula, Ina, Wulf, Rudiger, Daniela, and Maren. Loved greatly by family friends Jean Lewington, and Willy Wittke. Predeceased by her grandchildren April Giles (2011), and Joseph Giles (2004), and sister Gerda (2006).
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Wednesday 3-5 and 7-9 PM, where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 9th at 11 AM with Pastor Dawn Hill officiating. Interment Carlisle Cemetery, North Middlesex.
Donations to Carlisle United Church, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
