SCHMOCKER: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Thursday, October 26, 2006, Alfred Hugo Schmocker, age 88, of Grand Cove, Grand Bend, formerly of Copetown. Beloved husband of the late Johanna “Hanna” Maria (Schierer) Schmocker (1998). Alfred and Hanna were known for their Holstein cattle, German Shepherd dogs and Trakehner horses. Loved friend and companion of Annemarie Socin-Luechinger. Dear uncle of Tino and Margrit Breuer of Grand Bend, Vera and Zbignew Niestrawski of Stratford, Anne-Marie and Ron Faulkner of Harriston, Peter and Karen Schmocker of Bolton, Renate Schmocker of Kenora and their families. Predeceased by brothers Arnold and Hans Schmocker. Cremation. A Service of Remembrance will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service time. The Rev. Father John Kulathinkal C.S.T. officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of choice would be appreciated.
